Contestant Receives Perfect Score and Elimination on Shocking 'Dancing With the Stars'

Heather Morris and her partner Maks Chmerkovskiy were excited for Dancing With the Stars Monday night and it showed in their sensual rumba to TLC's "Waterfalls." Morris has averaged a top three judges' score for the run of the this season. But on the evening the show honored boy bands and girl groups, Morris received a perfect score of 40! It was the first perfect score this season. While it was exciting for Morris to get such a huge score, the joy was short lived. Apparently Morris doesn't have a lot of fans with cell phones or internet access because her lack of fan votes led to her elimination. When the announcement was made, the audience booed loudly, prompting Tom Bergeron to say, "In 24 seasons, that's probably the most vocally unhappy reaction we've gotten about a result." And while Morris was clearly disappointed in the turn of events, she handled it with grace saying, "It's a hard competition, and I'm happy I got to do exactly what I got to do. It was very, very fun."
