Contessa Metcalfe Wins Her First Fitness Competition in a Cheeky Green Bikini
Throughout this season of Married to Medicine, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe has been working incredibly hard to prepare for her first fitness competition, and on the show’s October 2 episode, her big moment finally arrived.
“I’ve sacrificed for months to get to today,” Contessa shared in an interview. “I’ve been waking up at five o’clock in the morning to work out, eating bland white fish and some kind of green vegetable, taking all these, like, vitamins and supplements, and posing. I had no idea posing was even a thing.”
“This will be the day that I am judged on all the sacrifices,” she continued. “And more importantly, am I going to run out the back door screaming because I’m too afraid to walk in front of a bunch of strangers in a bikini?”
When it came time for Contessa to show off her months of tireless training, she looked incredible as she hit the stage in a sparkly green bikini. The swimsuit had a triangle top with crystal-like straps and a cheeky bottom, which was also held together with crystal-embellished strings.
Ultimately, Contessa’s hard work paid off in a way that she didn’t see coming: She won the competition. “What?! I thought I was past the stage in my life where I was gonna get an award for anything. I was looking for a participation medal,” she said in an interview, later adding to her loved ones, “I’m so proud.”
