Content Creator JayStation Says He Knew His Prank Videos Were Controversial, But He Didn’t Go Too Far

Jay, who goes by JayStation on social media, is known for making prank videos and posting them online. He says he had amassed 6.5 million subscribers on one channel and 800,000 on the other, until it all disappeared overnight. “Over a year ago, I posted a series of videos about the fake death of my girlfriend. YouTube decided to ban me from posting videos,” Jay says. He says not only did he lose his accounts and followers, he lost his income of $100,000 a month. “I knew my videos were controversial.
