Fresh off his work in Netflix’s One Day, Leo Woodall is now set to lead Prime Target, a conspiracy thriller ordered at Apple TV+ on Wednesday.

Spanning eight episodes, Prime Target stars Woodall (who also made a splash in The White Lotus‘ sophomore season) as Edward Brooks, a brilliant young math post-graduate on the verge of a major breakthrough: If he succeeds in finding a pattern in prime numbers, he’ll hold the key to every computer in the world.

“Soon he begins to realize an unseen enemy is trying to destroy his idea before it’s even born,” the logline reads, “which throws him into the orbit of Taylah Sanders (Trinkets‘ Quintessa Swindell), a female NSA agent who’s been tasked with watching and reporting on mathematicians’ behavior. Together, they start to piece together the troubling conspiracy Edward is at the heart of.”

In addition to Woodall and Swindell, Prime Target‘s cast also includes Martha Plimpton (Raising Hope), David Morrissey (The Walking Dead), Stephen Rea (Counterpart), Harry Lloyd (Game of Thrones), Fra Fee (Hawkeye), Sidse Babett Knudsen (Borgen), Jason Flemyng (Pennyworth), Ali Suliman (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan) and Joseph Mydell (Alex Rider).

There’s currently no timetable for Prime Target‘s release, but Apple TV+ has released a first-look photo from the series. Scroll down to view it in full, then hit the comments and tell us: Does Prime Target‘s premise pique your interest?
