Consequence Continues Talib Kweli Feud With New Diss Track “Beef Forever”

Consequence ended 2023 with a bang by releasing a new diss track aimed at his current rival Talib Kweli. The record, titled “Beef Forever,” includes shots at the Black Star member’s ex-wife and his sexual assault allegations.
“You might have went around with the Lyricist Lounge, but the underground know who got the Lyricist Crown/ So you should be afraid, watch the levels EQ/ You should know that night I could’ve left with Eque,” the Queens rapper spit in the track released on Friday (Dec. 29). “You probably so afraid of that left from Eque, and that’s the reason why them other girls got #MeToo’d/ You never been more than a Mr. Me Too, and you don’t really want no smoke with the one I too, ni**a/ We got beef forever, once we got beef, we got beef forever.”
Kweli responded via Instagram and threw DJ Akademiks’ name and his recent rape allegations into the mix after the Off The Record host promoted the track. “‘That’s why Trumps my guy, he keeps it a bean!’ – DJ Wackademiks – NGL I didn’t have Dexter and Wackademiks alliance on my 2023 bingo card,” he wrote in a post on Friday. “You can tell these knee grows have no friends this song [trash emoji] How @constv mad at me for saying what he be saying about Kanye two years before he said it and @akademiks I been waiting for your Jerry the Mouse a** to jump out the window. So Trump the nazi rapist is your guy huh.”

The following day, Talib Kweli continued his tirade against Consequence and DJ Akademiks in an additional post, sharing the video of the latter’s ex-girlfriend discussing what allegedly happened to her. “Yesterday @constv conspired w @akademiks to release a diss about me on @akademiks page,” he wrote. “Today @akademiks ex girlfriend accused Akademiks of rape. Dexter really needs better friends. The language @akademiks used to describe @constv diss song about me was ‘violate.’ This man sure does know a thing or two about how to violate.”
Consequence and Kweli’s feud began in 2022 after the former continued to stand by Kanye West despite him being lambasted for his anti-semitic rants. Coincidentally, Cons recently called out Ye for acting as if he didn’t have a team of people supporting him and demanded that they get an apology since he was willing to apologize to the Jewish community.
