On Thursday, the American Horror Story actress shared photos of herself posing in what was meant to be her Emmys gown to Instagram.

"Dear @dylan.mcdermott and #Rubberman, I am so sorry I had to miss joining you on Monday at the #Emmyawards for an @ahsfx reunion!" Britton, 56, captioned the post. "Even though I was impregnated with the antichrist by at least one, if not both of you, I was truly looking forward to seeing you on that grand Emmy stage and reminiscing about those good old spooky days."

In the photos, Britton wears a blush pink Maticevski gown with partial train and daring slit that she was meant to wear to the 75th Annual Emmy Awards, her stylist Katie Bofshever confirmed on Instagram Thursday. Britton's shoes were Le Silla and she was even decked out in Irene Neuwirth jewelry.

Britton was meant to present the outstanding lead actor in a limited series or movie category with McDermott, 62, before she was alerted that if she didn't get on the next plane, a snowstorm in New York would prevent her from getting to the set of her upcoming miniseries Zero Day.

McDermott and Britton played married couple Ben and Vivien Harmon on the first season of AHS, known as "Murder House."
