'Conners' Star Sara Gilbert and Wife Linda Perry File For Separation
'Conners' and former 'The Talk' co-host Sara Gilbert and rock star wife Linda Perry are officially separated. They announced their separation on Friday. However, according to PopCulture, the couple had separated back in August and were waiting to release the news.
The couple had been married for 5 years. They also had one child together named Rhodes Emilio Gilbert Perry who is currently 4 years old. Gilbert also has two children from her prior relationship with Ali Adler before coming out.

The couple had two children together. Sawyer Gilbert-Adler is currently 12 and Levi Hank Gilbert-Adler is 15-years-old. While the couple's current children will be greatly affected by the separation, Gilbert's child bearing ability may have actually had an impact on the separation.
"Sara can't have any more kids," Linda Perry had told US weekly this fall just before the separation. "That part's done. We barely squeaked out this one."
This isn't the first instance that proves their relationship was suffering due to family matters.
Gilbert left 'The Talk' in August 2019. She made the announcement suddenly a couple of months beforehand.
"Last season, I did 'The Conners' and was also producing and (hosting) here. I loved it and felt totally empowered, but also, if I’m being honest about it, my life was slightly out of balance," Gilbert said on 'The Talk' alongside her co-hosts in April. "I wasn’t able to spend as much time with my three kids as I’d like, or take time for myself."
Many fans took to Twitter and Facebook to share their condolences.
"So sad. I saw this coming for the last year for so I was hoping it wasn't true," wrote one fan on Twitter.
Others were devastated for the children and hope that the two can co-parent well together.
"I pray for the kids sake you two can still have a healthy friendship as parents," they wrote.
"I feel for those kids it's sad no matter how you look at it!" added another.
Some fans saw the separation coming from a mile away. Many believe that Gilbert's decision to leave the show indicated a crack in their relationship.
"Sad to hear maybe this why she I left the talk to try to make this work to spend my time with her family and her Wife," wrote one.
"I saw this coming when she left The Talk. She was trying save her family," another fan speculated. "Sadly might been too late. All work and it pushes people away."
