A Condition Called Love episode 6 recap
The episode starts with Hotaru accepting her feelings for Hananoi-kun and planning to tell him. However, throughout the day, she struggles to confess it to him. While at work, her manager introduces Yao, a new member joining the team. Hotaru is shocked to see him, as they haven’t seen him since elementary school. Yao tries to talk to her but is interrupted by Hananoi, who pulls him away.
He introduces himself, telling Hananoi he is just her coworker and former classmate. The episode then reveals the relationship between Hotaru and Yao from when they were in elementary school. Hananoi couldn’t hide his jealousy and constantly visited Hotaru at her workplace. Hananoi invites her to the lake, and the two have a magical moment, with Hotaru finally taking the initiative.
The next day, Hotaru asks him to go out with her on Valentine’s Day. She plans to make cookies, but chickens out of it. On Valentine’s Day, Hotaru goes to check on Hananoi in his place since he had postponed the date. She sees him in an apron smeared with chocolate and finds out he’s been trying to make chocolate for her. They decide to make it together to spend quality time together. The episode ends with them enjoying the chocolate and each other’s company.
