Meatball timeout.

Deena Cortese of “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” is seemingly always up for a good time, but she encountered a few speed bumps with the roomies on their trip to Nashville.

The least of which are her new glasses.

“You're wearing your glasses, actually,” said Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi on the April 4 episode.

“Is that a problem?” Deena asked.

“You look like an evil teacher,” Nicole said.

“You look like a toddler,” Deena responded.

More important is her son C.J.: Deena and her husband Chris Buckner are concerned the boy might have Celiac disease. On the episode, Deena had a heart-to-heart with Angelina Pivarnick.

“I guess he's not growing on the range he's supposed to be growing, and that worries me a little,” Deena said. “We just want to make sure he doesn't have Celiac disease. Chris has Celiac disease. You can't eat gluten because if you eat gluten your bones can't absorb nutrients, so it causes you not to grow. So it's better to catch it early.”

About 2 million people in the United States have Celiac disease, according to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, and there is no known cure.

Gluten is a protein found naturally in wheat, barley and rye, and is common in foods such as bread, pasta, cookies, cakes and prepackaged foods, according to the NIDDKD.

Deena, 37, lives in Upper Freehold Township with Chris and their two sons. She's leaving the roomies in Nashville to go home.

“We're going to go to the doctor and make sure everything is taken care of with C.J.” Deena said.

She parties heartily on her last night in Nashville, riding a mechanical bull and singing karaoke at the city's Wild Beaver Saloon.

It was Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola's recommendation to go to the Wild Beaver — Sammi's sister had her bachelorette party there.

“You know you've had a great night when people have to help you out of the bar,' Deena said.

Yet, the next morning, a tinge of regret.

“Nashville definitely brought out the Meatball in me,” Deena said. “Years come off my life when we do these shows.”

It looks like next week is finally the anticipated reunion of Sammi and ex Ronnie Oritiz-Magro. “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” airs 8 p.m. Thursday's on MTV.
