Conan O'Brien hilariously breaks down Aaron Rodgers's broken collarbone

    Kylie Mar
    Host & Producer, Yahoo Entertainment
    October 27, 2017

Green Bay Packers’ star quarterback Aaron Rodgers visited Conan on Thursday to play the new Assassin’s Creed: Origins video game. But first, host Conan O’Brien wanted to break the ice by making Aaron relive his recent injury.

Conan thought it would be a good idea to bring out a skeleton to demonstrate exactly what happened to Aaron’s collarbone by having someone take a hammer to it and, while this definitely cleared up any confusion Conan had about exactly how the bone was broken, it was still a shocking visual. Humorous, but shocking.

Next, one of Aaron’s teammates, David Bakhtiari, joined the hangout, and Conan definitely had a bone to pick with him. “You’re an offensive tackle,” Conan said to David. “Your job then is to protect the quarterback. David, I would like to know where you were when Aaron was hit.” David explained that he was much further away then he could accurately show, because they were in a small room, which made Conan exclaim, “How the f*** are you supposed to protect Aaron if you were over here? What were you doing? Were you shopping for groceries?”

And to rub more salt into Aaron’s wound, Conan brought out one of his producers, who explained that since losing Aaron from his Fantasy Football League, he has gone from being in first place to losing two weeks in a row. Ouch.

Conan airs weeknights at 11 p.m. on TBS.
