Conan O'Brien hits Seth Rogen’s joint during one of his final shows on TBS

There are only a few shows left for Conan on TBS, and one of the final interviews was with actor Seth Rogen on Tuesday’s show. And since host Conan O’Brien has some upcoming free time on his hands with the show ending, he asked Rogen for some ideas on ways to pass the time. And Rogen, who owns his own marijuana company, was quick to suggest that O’Brien, “try smoking a lot of weed for a long time.”

O’Brien, who admittedly has rarely ever smoked weed, seemed curious. And that’s when the actor pulled a joint from his shirt pocket and handed it to O’Brien.

“I think you should take one hit of that weed,” Rogen said. “And I think you’ll have a really good time.” To which O’Brien responded, “Do you have a light?”

CONAN O'BRIEN: You know me.

SETH ROGEN: Yep.

CONAN O'BRIEN: What would you want me smoking? OK. [INAUDIBLE].

KYLIE MAR: With just a few shows left for Conan on TBS, one of his final interviews was with Seth Rogen. And since Conan has some upcoming free time on his hands, and he has admitted to rarely ever smoking weed, he asked Rogen, who owns his own weed company, for some guidance and a lighter.

CONAN O'BRIEN: This is the kind of thing you do when you know it's over for you. Oh, what are they going to do? Oh, what are they going to do to me?

SETH ROGEN: I'm so nervous right now.

CONAN O'BRIEN: I know. I'm-- seriously.

SETH ROGEN: You're holding it the wrong way.

[LAUGHTER]

KYLIE MAR: And that's when the interview and Conan's last week on TBS went up in smoke.

Viewers on Twitter were blown away by tokin' Conan with comments like, "Conan smoking weed on TV when he knows he's only got a few shows left is why he's the best," and, "I've never felt more represented on TV than watching Conan awkwardly trying to smoke weed and not knowing which end of the joint to light and then becoming hyper self-aware about whether it's having any effect."

CONAN O'BRIEN: When does this thing that's going to happen happen?

SETH ROGEN: Well, we'll wait a few minutes, and see how you feel, and then maybe you have a little bit more if you're still functional.

CONAN O'BRIEN: I'm driving a school bus in an hour.

KYLIE MAR: Even Seth Rogen took to Twitter with excitement, saying, "I smoked weed with Conan on his show and was legit terrified that I got him too high. This was a surreal and shocking moment for me and was genuinely unplanned."

SETH ROGEN: I'm so happy with what just happened.

ANDY RICHTER: I forgot. I applied for a job at Target.
