Conan O’Brien Must Go has been picked up for a six-episode second season, Max announced on Wednesday.
The streamer announced the renewal during the Warner Bros. Discovery upfront presentation, just four weeks after the travel show’s premiere. Season 2 will feature two more episodes than its initial run.
In Season 1, the former late night host stopped in Norway, Thailand, Argentina, and Ireland while visiting friends he met via Zoom through Conan O’Brien Needs a Fan, a spinoff from his core podcast, Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend.
“This latest travel show has been so fun and rewarding that I suspected it was all a cruel prank,” O’Brien said in a statement. “My apologies in advance to the next six countries.”
Nina Rosenstein, Executive Vice President of HBO Programming, Late Night and Specials, added, “Conan’s ridiculousness knows no bounds. Our audience told us in no uncertain terms that four episodes of Conan O’Brien Must Go is not nearly enough. To which we say, be careful what you wish for.”

Last month, O’Brien returned to The Tonight Show, appearing for the first time since being fired in 2010.
