People have been spotting Timothée Chalamet on set of his new film A Complete Unknown for a while, but we now have our first footage of him in action as Bob Dylan.

indieWire shared the first video of Chalamet in action, not only demonstrating the vocal skill we know he has from his appearance in Wonka but also his instrumental talent.

Chalamet was seen in New Jersey strumming an acoustic guitar while mastering the signature Bob Dylan harmonica.

Monica Barbaro, who plays Joan Baez, was by his side for the scene, singing along with her own acoustic guitar in hand.

James Mangold is directing the biopic, which is set to tell the story of the famous singer-songwriter following his performance at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival in 1965 when a young Bob Dylan shook up the folk music scene.

Images have been circulating online as Chalamet has been spotted in different locations while filming the picture.

He's been seen on set alongside Elle Fanning, who is playing Sylvie Russo, in New York City, as well as spotted solo on the streets of Manhattan.

Chalamet has been attached to the biopic for years, but the project has faced multiple delays. However, the production is now seemingly flying off without a hitch.

An expected release date is yet to be announced.
