'Community' Trailer: Greendale Is Back With a Vengeance
After Avengers 2: Age of Ultron, perhaps no premiere is more hotly anticipated (among a very specific demographic) than the return of Community. So it should come as no surprise (to that very specific demographic) that the TV show would drop a Community: Age of Yahoo trailer two weeks before the debut.
Many favorite Community tropes are back: Annie and Chang are dressed as Daniel and Mr. Miyagi from Karate Kid, Jeff as a white-haired futuristic mayor with a ray gun, Garrett screaming in terror. There are blood oaths, Halloween costumes, and apparently, Greendale once gave a degree to a dog.

We also get to see some of this season’s additions to the cast. “New Shirley,” aka Paget Brewster as Frankie Dart, and “Nobody’s fourth Ghostbuster,” aka Keith David as Elroy Patashnik, who seems to embody Pierce Hawthorne’s befuddlement and Buzz Hickey’s aggressive competence as a computer innovator who’s twenty years past his heyday.
