Community mini-reunion alert: Gillian Jacobs to guest on Dr. Ken
Another Community mini-reunion is just what Dr. Ken ordered.
Gillian Jacobs will guest on the ABC family/medical comedy, EW has learned exclusively.
In an episode slated to air in January, Jacobs — who starred with Dr. Ken co-creator/star Ken Jeong on Community for six seasons — will play Erin, the attractive new intern at the hospital who is studying under Dr. Ken (Jeong). When Erin’s admiration for Ken veers into flirtatious territory, Ken’s wife, Allison (Suzy Nakamura) becomes jealous.
Jacobs is now the fourth Community regular to pop on Dr. Ken. Joel McHale and Danny Pudi appeared together in a February episode, and the following month, Jim Rash butted heads with Jeong onscreen.
Currently starring in the Netflix comedy Love, Jacobs had a recurring role on Girls and recently guested on Community creator Dan Harmon’s History series Great Minds with Dan Harmon.
Dr. Ken airs Fridays at 8:30 p.m.ET on ABC.
