CANTON – CommQuest Services has hired Dr. Ashlie Martin its new addiction medicine director.

She will join the mental health and addiction recovery service staff in July.

Martin comes from Baptist Health in Memphis, Tennessee, where she’s completing an addiction medicine fellowship, and previously did her medical school and residency at Meharry Medical College in Nashville.

"We’re so fortunate to have Dr. Martin, another mission-driven physician, join us and make Ohio her home," CommQuest CEO Elaine Russell Reolfi said. "CommQuest’s holistic approach to addiction, mental health and social support aligns well with her passion to serve. We're there for people at every stage of their recovery journey, and as one of the largest nonprofit behavioral health organizations in Ohio, we're here to serve everyone who needs us."

CommQuest also announced the creation of a new role, director of recovery services, to lead its residential and intensive addiction recovery. The organization has begun a search to fill that role.
