Commodores, War bringing the funk to Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee: How to get tickets

Are you ready to get funky? The Commodores are bringing “Brick House,” “Machine Gun,” “Easy” and other ‘70s and ‘80s funk and R&B hits to Immokalee.

They’ll be joined by rock-funk band War at Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee on Saturday, March 23. War scored 14 Billboard Top 40 hits in the ‘70s, including “Why Can’t We Be Friends?,” “Low Rider” and “The Cisco Kids.”

The two bands will co-headline the 8 p.m. concert. Gates open at 7 p.m.

The hotel announced the outdoor show Tuesday. Tickets are on sale now and cost $59 and $89.
