Up-and-Coming K-Pop Group NOWADAYS: Members & Debut Date Revealed
Newbie K-pop group NOWADAYS will debut soon. After almost eight years, Cube Entertainment’s rookie K-pop act will be their first boy group project. Before the much-anticipated debut of the super rookies, the label released individual trailers of all members and revealed the debut date.
Cube Entertainment is home to some of the K-pop record-making artists. Girl groups (G)-IDLE and Lightsum debuted under the music label. Along with K-pop acts, the music agency also features several famous soloists, including Jo Kwon, Choi Mi Yeon, Jeon So-Yeon, and more.
After successfully promoting a few K-pop acts and solo artists, Cube Entertainment joins the race to launch a new K-pop act, NOWADAYS.
All about NOWADAYS members & debut date of K-Pop group
NOWADAYS has five members: Hyeonbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, and Siyun. The group will make its official debut on April 2, 2024, with new music. Before the debut, the music label shared teasers of all the members as their introduction to K-pop fans.
Some of the members of NOWADAYS are already known to fans as they have trained under various famous music labels.
The oldest member of the group, Hyeonbin, is 22 years old. He has trained under Source Music, KOZ Entertainment, and WM Entertainment. Hyeonbin was also a part of WM Entertainment‘s trainee group, Ggumnamu. The Korean rookie is confident in his rapping skills. Along with performing, Hyeonbin also likes composing music using a piano.
The second oldest member of the group, Yoon, is only 21. He is a refreshingly new face, as the rookie has not been featured in any previous projects. CUBE Entertainment introduced Yoon to the K-pop world on March 7, 2024.
The third member of the group is Jeong Yeonwoo. The 21-year-old K-pop newbie has been training under CUBE Entertainment for over six years and will finally debut as a NOWADAYS member.
One of NOWADAYS’ youngest members is Jang Jin-hyuk. The 20-year-old Korean trainee previously starred in Hui (PENTAGON)’s special performance “Cold Killer.” He boasts about his decorating abilities along with music. The member said in an introductory video that his eyes are his most charming feature.
In addition, Siyun is the youngest member of NOWADAYS. The group’s official maknae (youngest member) is only 19. In an introductory video, he said his charming point is his excellent body and ‘lizard-like personality.’ He explained, “I don’t gain weight easily, and I exercise regularly, so I can maintain 6% of body fat like an athlete.”
All members of NOWADAYS have revealed their introductory videos, as well as a video explaining their best qualities and more about the group’s friendship and personality types.
