Comedians Shapel Lacey (Comedy Central) and Matt Braunger (Amazon’s Upload, Netflix’s Disjointed) are our first mystery guests, so tune in above or wherever you get your podcasts. Spinning off of the Long Time No See Comedy live show, this new series puts a literally unexpected spin on the comedy podcast. We sit two blindfolded comics down at Los Angeles’ Gold-Diggers without telling them who’s across the table. When they pull off the eye covers, before them could be an old friend, and admired peer, or a complete stranger! Either way, they’ll be asked a series of questions both ridiculous and probing, and their answers will reveal both themselves and the world of standup comedy.

The Season 1 kick-off features a pair of circuit regulars. Lacey and Braunger get into their biggest bombs, the most underrated and overrated cities to perform in, and life advice all while touching on comedy’s biggest tipper (hint: “Cleveland rocks!”), the misuse of “woke,” and why comics should stop trying to force crowd work.

Lacey has been seen on Comedy Central and has performed with comedy stars like Bill Burr and Hannibal Buress. Find his upcoming dates here. Braunger, meanwhile, has been a comedy mainstay since the late ’00s, and has appeared on shows like Amazon’s Upload and Netflix’s Disjointed.
