Comedian Rafi Bastos Announces Debut Australian Tour
Brazilian comedian Rafi Bastos has excited his fans by announcing his first-ever Australian tour for November 2024. He has captured audiences worldwide with his English stand-up clips, often filmed at the prestigious Comedy Cellar in New York.
The tour will begin at Perth’s Rechabite Hall on Thursday, 14th November 2024, followed by Brisbane’s Sit Down Comedy Club on Sunday, 17th November, and will wrap up the tour at Sydney’s The Comedy Store on Wednesday, 20th November.
Rafi Bastos – ‘ USA vs Brazil’
Rafi Bastos is a pioneer in comedy and has evolved stand-up comedy in his home country Brazil. His 17-year career in comedy and acting was marked by numerous firsts. He was recently featured on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast. Rafi has amassed over 370 million views on his YouTube channel and boasts a massive following of 11.4 million on Twitter.
He is also recognized by The New York Times as the Most Influential Man on Twitter in 2011, Rafi clinched the Shorty Awards for Best Comedian in 2013. He is also the first Brazilian comedian to grace the stages of globally renowned comedy clubs such as the ‘Comedy Cellar’, ‘Laugh Factory’, and ‘The Hollywood Improv’.
Rafi Bastos’ accolades extend to the international stage, as he became the first Brazilian comedian to headline at ‘Just For Laughs’, the world’s largest comedy festival in Montreal, Canada.
