EXCLUSIVE: Top comic Nate Bargatze has announced the launch of The Nateland Company, a new family-friendly content company for audiences of all ages, through which he’ll produce stand-up comedy specials, showcases, sketches, scripted episodic content for film and television, podcasts, music and more.

Up first for release by the company, based out of Bargatze’s hometown of Nashville, is the series Nateland Presents: The Showcase, which debuts on YouTube today. The comic directed all six episodes, to roll out weekly, which place the spotlight on an expansive roster of up-and-coming comics. Among them are Mandal, Donnie Sengstack, Mr. Derick, Jim Flannigan, Renard Hirsch, Alex Velluto, Mal Hall, Jen Fulwiler, Jonnie W., Justin Smith, Mary Santora, Rahn Hortman, Caleb Elliot, Luca Ferro, Matt Taylor, Mike James, Karen Mills and Andrew Stanley.

Hosted by Dusty Slay, Aaron Weber and Brian Bates, The Showcase was taped at Zanies Comedy Club in Nashville and will also be available in audio form, anywhere you listen to podcasts, through The Nateland Company’s partnership with Audioboom. This project, for Bargatze, is one that’ll be ongoing, with more episodes to come down the line.

In addition to The Showcase, his company this year produced three full-length comedy specials: Mike Vecchione: The Attractives, Greg Warren: The Salesman and Joe Zimmerman: Cult Classic. Bargatze directed each of those, and has others in pre-production now. The Nateland Company also produces The Nateland Podcast, a top comedy podcast hosted by Bargatze, Bates, Weber and Slay, which is coming up on 200 episodes.

Said Bargatze, “The Nateland Company is committed to producing high-quality content that inspires and entertains while upholding values of respect, kindness, and inclusivity. With a focus on laughter, heartwarming stories, and relatable characters, we aim to foster meaningful connections and provide positive experiences that families can enjoy together.”

A Grammy-nominated comedian and podcaster, known for his clean and relatable material, Bargatze broke a record last weekend at Salt Lake City’s arena, the Delta Center, with 32,638 tickets sold across three shows. He’s the top-selling comic ever in both SLC and Nashville and broke another attendance record in the latter city earlier in the year, after selling 19,365 tickets to an April show at Bridgestone Arena. The Tennessee native also recently signed to Universal Music Group Nashville as the flagship comedian under its new Capitol Comedy label.

Among Bargatze’s specials are Full Time Magic (Comedy Central) and the acclaimed Netflix hours The Tennessee Kid and The Greatest Average American. He scored a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album for the latter, and in January took to Prime Video with Nate Bargatze: Hello World, which now holds the record as Amazon’s most-streamed original comedy special in its first 28 days of viewership. Bargatze has also been seen on Netflix’s The Standups, Comedy Central Presents and elsewhere, and released albums like Yelled at by a Clown (2014), which reached #1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts and remained on Billboard’s Top Ten Comedy Charts for weeks.

Bargatze is currently circulating with new material, making his rounds as part of The Be Funny Tour. Both he and his company are represented by UTA, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Ginsburg Daniel Kallis.
