SOUTH BEND — Jerry Seinfeld performs at 7 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Morris Performing Arts Center, 211 N. Michigan St.

The comedian has been hailed for his uncanny ability to joke about the little things in life that relate to audiences everywhere.

Seinfeld’s comedy career took off after his first appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” in 1981.

Eight years later, he teamed up with fellow comedian Larry David to create what was to become the most successful comedy series in television history: “Seinfeld,” where he played a fictional version of himself. The show ran on NBC for nine seasons and won numerous Emmy, Golden Globe and People’s Choice awards.

His Netflix projects include “Jerry Before Seinfeld” and “23 Hours to Kill,” the web series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” and his upcoming film, “Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story,” which he also is writing, producing and directing.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 18 and are $300-$65.
