Jenny Slate will soon be a married woman!
The comedian announced her engagement to art curator Ben Shattuck on Monday and revealed the exciting proposal details!
Revealing he whisked her away to France, she says Shattuck made her a picnic where he popped the question.
"He took me to France and made a picnic and made me feel happy and free and then he asked me to marry him and i screamed YES," the "Secret Life of Pets" actress wrote.
Turning the focus on her fiancé, Slate added, "you are the kindest and brightest and I am so grateful and here we go and keep going."
Slate gave fans a look at her dazzling rock too, revealing the diamond is not like any ordinary one.
Her bling appears to be dark in color with several tiny diamonds surrounding the large center.
Slate is known for her work on several big movies like " Zootopia," "Obvious Child" and "The Secret Life of Pets."
Her soon-to-be husband got sentimental sharing his engagement post.
"In an abandoned castle in southern France, I asked this woman to marry me," he revealed. "Here she is in front of a door the color of her soul."
He added, "In LA / MA / Holland / Belgium / France thank you @jennyslate and UP UP UP to more adventures."
Slate and Shattuck have only been linked since January.
This will be groom #2 for Slate. She was married to comedian Dean Fleischer-Camp before the duo called it quits in 2016.
After her breakup, she dated her "Gifted" co-star Chris Evans for two years before they announced their split in March 2018.
