Columbus woman joins 'Love Island USA' cast. Will she turn heads in Casa Amor?

Watch out, Columbus — a hot new bombshell has entered the villa.

Central Ohio resident Najah Fleary is competing on season five of "Love Island USA," a hit reality dating competition show with a dedicated international fanbase. Fleary, a 25-year-old nursing student originally from Maryland, enters the villa as a "bombshell" during the show's Casa Amor week, hoping to test existing couples' loyalty to each other and stir up some drama.

Set in a villa on the island of Fiji, "Love Island" follows the journey of a group of singles on their search for romance. Contestants must compete in challenges and forge connections during their stay in the villa, coupling up with whoever they think is their best match on the island. End up single, and you could be at risk of being dumped from the villa. The real power, though, is in the hands of the viewers, who periodically get the chance to vote live for their favorite couples.

During Casa Amor week, existing couples are split up between two different villas and joined by a total of 13 new bombshells. As a Casa Amor bombshell, Fleary will try to form a connection, and maybe even split up an existing couple. If she's able to turn someone's head, it could be a game-changer for the Islanders.

The Casa Amor bombshells first entered on Tuesday night's show, and they're already causing drama inside the villa. Rumors are swirling about Fleary potentially forming a connection with fellow Islander Keenan Anunay, who's currently coupled up with Vickala 'Kay Kay' Gray.

Time will tell if Fleary's bombshell appearance will blow up the villa — or if things will fizzle out.

"Love Island USA" season 5 is available for streaming on Peacock. The show premiered on July 18 and releases six new episodes each week.
