The eagerly anticipated arrival of Lou Malnati's Pizzeria in Columbus appears uncertain.

Chicago-style deep-dish pizza chain Lou Malnati's has yet to provide any updates regarding its potential expansion into the Columbus area. Natalie Levy, public relations manager for Lou Malnati's, said in an email that the company does not have any new information to share at this time.

Despite job postings that surfaced last May indicating the possibility of Lou Malnati's opening in Columbus, a first for Ohio, the company has not made any official announcements or confirmed its entry into the market. Levy emphasized that Lou Malnati's has not signed any agreements or leases for locations in the area.

"While we're still evaluating the market and exploring potential areas for the future, we have no further details on the timeline or specific locations," Levy said. "At this point, we are focused on our existing markets and not ready to provide more information or comment on the matter."

Lou Malnati's Pizzeria, a family-owned business established in 1971 in Lincolnwood, Illinois, has gained a loyal following for its authentic Chicago-style pizza. With over 80 locations open or coming soon across Illinois, Arizona, Wisconsin and Indiana, and pies shipped across the country, the brand has garnered attention nationwide.
