The Thunderbirds Show Line is made up of two dozen professionals in a variety of aircraft maintenance specialties who are chosen for their job proficiency, dedication to duty, and overall attitude.

Herb Gillen, president of Herb Gillen Airshows, the Upper Arlington company the produces air shows across the U.S., said last year's event was a success, drawing 52,000 attendees to see attractions like the U.S. Navy Blue Angels in their first visit to Columbus in nearly three decades.

"The post-show survey feedback we received from our guests was overwhelmingly positive and their desire was to bring the show back again in 2024,” Gillen said in a press release.
