The Indianapolis Colts elevated kicker Chase McLaughlin from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of the Week 3 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, the team announced Saturday.

McLaughlin has been on the practice squad since before the Week 2 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was elevated in Week 2, but the only snap he played in the game was the kickoff to begin the second half.

McLaughlin is serving as the kicker following the release of Rodrigo Blankenship and will likely see more playing time with the Chiefs in town.

The Colts can elevate McLaughlin one more time this season before he must be signed to the active roster.
