Colorado Mesa University names dance studio after campus legend

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Ann J. Sanders started Colorado Mesa University’s dance program from scratch in the 70s. She watched the program blossom and thrive over the years.

CMU staff members say that is all thanks to her, which is why they are naming the dance studio located in the Moss Performing Arts Center after a woman who paved the way for aspiring generations of dancers to come.
