Colorado Farm Family Captures Spectacular Footage as Tornado Rips Up Crops

A tornado damaged crops and equipment as it tore through a farm in Platteville, Colorado, on June 7.

The tornado touched down north of Firestone, Colorado, and then moved west and northwest of Platteville, according to the National Weather Service.

The weather service said it would be conducting a survey to determine the exact track, damage, and intensity of the tornado.

Miller Farms posted these videos of the tornado moving through their property, and said on Instagram that they were still assessing the damage left by the tornado. They started a crowdfunding campaign to cover the costs of the lost equipment and crop damage. Credit: Melissa Miller via Storyful
