‘Colony’ Season 2 Adds William Russ, Keiko Agena & Paolo Andino As Recurring
William Russ (Girl Meets World), Keiko Agena (Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life) and Paolo Andino (The Last Ship) have joined the second season cast of USA Network’s Colony in recurring roles.
Russ plays Hennessey, a seen-it-all ex-spy who always had more brains than brawn and now serves as a lateral bridge between the many Resistance cells. This privileged and dangerous position allows Hennessey to help Broussard (Tory Kittles) unravel one of the big mysteries surrounding the Los Angeles bloc’s purpose. Agena is Betsy, a co-worker of Will Bowman (Josh Holloway) and Jennifer (Kathleen Rose Perkins) at Homeland Security. She is the one friendly face they can rely on, but as the politics of the Occupation take a dark turn, Betsy finds herself placed in a compromising position. Andino plays Howard, a Redhat whose loyalties will be tested when he meets Broussard.
Season 2 picks up with alien intelligence still in control of a near-future Los Angeles. In an effort to get their son back, Will (Holloway) has been cooperating with the Collaborators and now knows about his wife Katie’s (Sarah Wayne Callies) alliance with the Resistance. With her secret out, and now finding themselves on opposite sides of the battle, the question now is whether they’ve jeopardized any hope of reuniting their family.
From executive producers Carlton Cuse and Ryan Condal, and co-produced by Legendary Television and Universal Cable Productions, Colony also stars Holloway, Callies, Tory Kittles, Peter Jacobson, Amanda Righetti, Jacob Buster, Isabella Crovetti-Cramp, Alex Neustaedter and Adrian Pasdar in a recurring role. The new season also includes previously announced guest stars Tony Plana and Jessica Parker Kennedy. Season 2 premieres Thursday, January 12 at 9 PM.
Russ, known as lovable Alan Matthews in Boy Meets World, also has had starring roles in Scandal, 90210, NCIS, The Young and the Restless and American History X. He is repped by Bresler-Kelly & Associates. Agena is best known as Rory Gilmore’s quirky best friend, Lane Kim in Gilmore Girls, a role she will reprise in the upcoming Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. She’s repped by LINK Entertainment and Joseph Le Talent Agency. Andino’s credits include The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, Criminal Minds and Scandal. He’s repped by Schiowitz Artists Management.
