Colony opened Season 2 in mid-January with 926,000 total viewers and a 0.3 rating, and to date has held pretty steady in the demo, posting a 0.3 with its penultimate outing on March 30.

“When Carlton and Ryan first pitched Colony, they described it as ‘the Nazi occupation of France, with aliens.’ In a world increasingly filled with uncertainty about authoritarian regimes, Season 3 will forge an even deeper connection with our audience,” Jeff Wachtel, president, chief content officer, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment said in a statement. “It’s a quality show that we know will stand the test of time.”
