Collin Morikawa’s clubs were left unattended on the tarmac, and all he could do was watch

How would you feel if you saw your golf clubs sitting unattended on the tarmac?
That’s what happened to Collin Morikawa on Sunday. The two-time major champion was sitting on a plane getting ready to head to Memphis, Tennessee, where he and 124 others will begin the FedEx Cup Playoffs come Thursday at TPC Southwind in the FedEx St. Jude Championship. He looked out the window, and his clubs, along with two other sets, were sitting alone on the tarmac.
Not something you want to deal with as someone traveling to play golf on vacation, let alone one of the best golfers in the world looking to compete for one of sport’s biggest prizes.
Morikawa tweeted a photo of the clubs, saying they fell out of the luggage cart and sat there with no one in sight. Fortunately, for Morikawa, his clubs made it to their destination.

Morikawa sits in 22nd in the FedEx Cup standings, putting him in good position to make the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta in three weeks. He has seven top-10 finishes this season, including a tie for second at the Genesis Scottish Open last month.
