These College Students Drove 1,400 Miles to Cast Their Votes

These students are going the extra mile to vote this Election Day. American University juniors Meredith Reilly and Zachary Houdek were not going to miss the opportunity to cast their first ballots for president. So they rented a car and drove 1,400 miles to their polling place because they say they never received their absentee ballots. Their epic journey from Washington D.C. to Texas took 30 hours. Meredith cast her vote in Fort Worth and Zachary voted in Austin.
