Cole Sprouse is a bit lost at sea when it comes to memories from The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.

According to the 31-year-old actor, who co-led on the Disney series with his twin Dylan Sprouse, the eight years he spent playing Cody Martin are kind of a blur.

“If I'm being fully honest, when you shoot that many episodes of a show, they kind of all blend together as one big amorphous memory,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “I don't really remember too much of that period.”

“The specific details are kind of lost. It was a different time,” he continued of the series, which originally ran from 2005 to 2008 before being rebooted as The Suite Life on Deck and aired until May 6, 2011.

On Wednesday, the Riverdale alum was reminded by Kelly Ripa on Live with Kelly and Mark that he was "literally born into this business," to which he said, "Don't remind me."

The notion of fame wasn't one that settled in for him, though, for awhile. "I don't think I was conscious until about 2018," he joked, before admitting that his time on Friends is what opened his eyes to his remarkable career. "I walked into the studio for the first time, and there was an energy in that studio that made me go, 'This is the biggest show in the world.'"

While talking to ET, Cole also responded to his on-screen mom Kim Rhodes' praise for the twins, in particular Dylan for refusing to indulge body-shaming dialogue from the show's writers.

Rhodes, now 54, was pregnant at the time, and the show “dealt with it by making fat jokes,” she said as she shared the story, which she called “one of my favorite memories.”

When they filmed the scene in front of the studio audience, Dylan skipped the line, prompting an executive producer to yell at him. He replied, “‘I would not disrespect any woman that way, let alone this woman. You write something funny and I’ll say it.’ ”

“That’s my little man,” Rhodes called Dylan this past November, adding that both he and Cole were very “protective” of her on set and  “defended me all the way through.”

In response to Rhodes’ comments, Cole said, “I love Kim. I'm glad to hear that she looks back on all that fun.”

“That's very nice of her to say that,” he continued, admitting that much of the Suite Life team remains close. “Honestly a lot of the cast and crew I still talk to from Suite Life. I think when you spend eight years with a crew inside a soundstage, it's kind of inevitable you guys become a little bit of a family.”

Though Rhodes has lost contact with her TV sons, she did say her “heart swells” when she sees them post their latest accomplishments online.

“If I ever saw any of them," she added, "I would clutch them to me and sob with love and pride.”
