The NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship changed hands at NWA 75.

On the first night of NWA 75, Kerry Morton defended the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship against Colby Corino, who was accompanied to the ring by Jamie Stanley.

The two stars battled it out in a hard-fought match. Morton grabbed Stanley and put him in harm’s way when Corino went for a dive to the outside. But Corino persevered and ultimately pinned Morton with a DDT to win the gold.

Morton previously won the title by defeating Homicide at NWA Hard Times 3 on November 12, 2022. Corino, the son of Steve Corino, returned to NWA at NWA Crockett Cup 2022 and earned a shot at the gold.

Corino will defend the title against Jack Cartwheel at NWA 75 Night Two. More information is available here.
