Directed by Michael Dowse, the slapstick movie stars Ed Helms as Detroit police officer Coffee, who is one-half of the buddy cop dynamic at the forefront of the movie. The other half of Coffee & Kareem’s leading duo is Kareem Manning played by Terrence Little Gardenhigh, the 12-year-old son of Vanessa. The movie also has Taraji P. Henson as Vanessa Manning, Betty Gilpin as Detective Watts, RonReaco Lee as Orlando Johnson, Andrew Bachelor as Rodney, David Alan Grier as Captain Hill, and many others.
