Cody Rhodes is back, and he delivered a heartfelt message upon his return to the red brand.

Rhodes had been sidelined since June 2022 with a torn pectoral muscle, but he came back to WWE at the Royal Rumble premium live event and won the battle royal. He then appeared on the January 30 episode of WWE RAW and discussed his victory. He looked back on his journey up to this point, including some of the obstacles he has faced. Rhodes noted that. when he was younger, he wanted to be the next John Cena, and even if things didn’t turn out that way, he wouldn’t change a thing.

Rhodes then shifted gears and brought up Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. He gave credit Reigns for his dominant reign and his status as the company’s top star; he even compared Reigns to LeBron James. But Rhodes stated that the rest of his life would begin at WrestleMania 39, where he will face Reigns, as he stated that Roman will still be “The Tribal Chief” and “The Head of the Table” after the show, but he will no longer be the champion.
