Cody Johnson to play Nashville's Bridgestone Arena in Feb. 2024
Cody Johnson has announced a Feb. 2, 2024 date at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.
Special guests for Johnson's show include Justin Moore and Dillon Carmichael. Tickets for the concert go on sale Oct. 6 at http://www.ticketmaster.com.
Bridgestone Arena is the same venue where, at 2022's Country Music Association Awards, Johnson won honors for Music Video and Single of the Year for his chart-topping track "'Til You Can't."
The Texas-born star also has "Leather," his ninth album (third major label), arriving on Nov. 3, 2023.
About his sold-out tour in 2022, a Tennessean review of his FirstBank Amphitheater performance noted that he was a "rising master" of the live, performance and studio arts of making country music.
The award-winning artist notes that his forthcoming material is "the best round of songs [he has] ever recorded."
In that group includes the new single "The Painter," which recently became the most first-week added song to country radio of his career with 73 stations putting the song on air.
After over a decade spent as an independent artist, he has now become a CMT Artist of The Year, three-time CMT Music Award winner, two-time CMA Award winner and “Best New Country Artist” iHeart Music Award recipient.
Moreover, at 2023's CMT Music Awards, he performed the top-5 country hit “Human," plus performed a tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd alongside Billy Gibbons, Chuck Leavell, Paul Rodgers, Slash, Warren Haynes, LeAnn Rimes and Wynonna Judd. As well, at June's CMA Fest, Johnson joined Reba McEntire for a rendition of the latter's 1986 classic “Whoever’s in New England.”
