‘Code Black’ Sneak Peek: Rob Lowe’s in the Middle of a Deadly Outbreak

If the real world isn’t enough to frighten you at the moment, perhaps you’ll want to tune in for tonight’s episode of CBS’s Code Black. The drama’s second season is ending with a two-part story centered on a deadly viral outbreak; the second hour airs Feb. 8 as the season finale.

In our spooky exclusive sneak peek above, Rob Lowe’s Col. Ethan Willis and Caitlin FitzGerald’s Dr. Gretchen Kerr enter a convenience store after an “exorcism” (just go with it) looking for answers, and — well, we won’t spoil it for you. Just be prepared to jump.

The episode, “The Devil’s Workshop,” will find the ER at Angels Memorial quarantined. Ariel (Emily Alyn Lind), the young girl Dr. Leanne Rorish (Marcia Gay Harden) bonded with a year ago when she lost her father, returns for this episode. In next week’s finale, “Fallen Angels,” the doctors work with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to find an antidote while Leanne makes a life-changing decision and Jesse (Luis Guzmán) welcomes a new batch of residents.

Code Black airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on CBS.
