‘Code Black’: First Look at Rob Lowe as the New Doctor in the House

Code Black will have a lot of changes for its second season (on a sad note, doctors Christa Lorenson and Neal Hudson are outta there), but one of the changes is a very welcome one. Rob Lowe joins the cast as Dr. Ethan Willis, a trauma doc who comes to Angels Memorial courtesy of the U.S. Army.

We have a first look at the trailer for Season 2 of the CBS medical drama, which features the familiar members of the Code Black cast as well as a whole lot of Lowe. While Dr. Willis can apparently work magic both in a hospital and in the back of a Humvee, he gets off on the wrong foot at Angels when he makes a bad judgment call.

Take a look at the video to see Lowe’s Dr. Willis shake things up, as well as a teaser for a possible job shakeup for Leanne (Marcia Gay Harden).

Code Black Season 2 premieres Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 10 p.m. on CBS.
