Coco Gauff and Ben Shelton Become 'Escape Room Goats' as They Take a Break from Training

The tennis stars posed with a handful of medieval props during a group outing to an escape room

Coco Gauff recently enjoyed some downtime with her friends and fellow tennis stars, Ben Shelton and Chris Eubanks,

Gauff, 20, was tagged in an Instagram photo shared by Shelton, 21, on Tuesday, and the tennis star reposted the picture to her story.

Gauff wrote, "Escape room goats," over the photo of her, Shelton and Eubanks, 27, in the themed room with a friend named Anna Mitchell.

The group of tennis stars seemed to have completed a medieval-themed room during the outing. Shelton's picture showed faux stone walls and stained glass as part of the room's decor.

Shelton is looking down at a book in the photo, while Gauff holds a silver knight's helmet. Eubanks is seen hoisting another prop from the escape room and Mitchell poses for the group photo with a fake sword.

"Coast to coast with the gang, IW⏭️MIA," Shelton wrote in his caption. The post included a carousel of photos from Shelton's time in Indian Wells for the BNP Paribas Open, which concluded on Sunday.

Shelton is now in Florida prepping for the Miami Open, where he and his friend Eubanks will face one another in the first match on Thursday.

As for Gauff, she'll play doubles on Thursday in Miami with Jessica Pegula in a matchup with Sloane Stephens and Ashlyn Krueger. On Friday, Gauff will compete in a women's singles match, though her opponent remains to be determined.

On Sunday, Gauff posted a series of photos of herself on the court in Indian Wells, California and wrote, "good times in the desert," in her caption.

And last week, the tennis star celebrated her 20th birthday with a jump into the ocean. "20! just a pisces in her natural habitat," Gauff wrote in a post. "I’ve been beyond blessed in this life and I am so thankful to have made it this far. Thank you everyone for all of the bday wishes."
