Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival may not be a sold-out event this year.

According to SFGate, ticket sales for the popular dessert affair are slower this year than in the past decade. In comparison, passes for the 2015 festival were sold out within 40 minutes, and in 2022, it took a little over four hours.

Last year, Coachella sold out within days. For the 2024 event, tickets went on sale on Jan. 19. As of Friday (Jan. 26), singular general admission tickets are still readily available for both weekends. VIP packages are also still available to purchase on the official website. Tier one options for the first weekend are no longer on sale.

Pricing begins at $549 for a weekend one general admission pass and $499 for the second. For VIP, pricing begins at $1,269 for the first weekend and $1,069 for the next. See tickets on Ticketmaster or find discount tickets on Vivid Seats, Stubhub or Seatgeek. Bonus: use promo code HOLLYWOOD10 to save $10 at Seatgeek.com.

Earlier this month, organizers revealed a star-studded lineup headlined by Lana Del Rey, Tyler, The Creator, and Doja Cat. Additional performers include J Balvin, Lil Yachgy, Coi Leray, Blxst, Ice Spice, Peso Pluma, Lil Uzi Vert, and more.

Last year, the festival faced criticism after Frank Ocean delivered a controversial set. The R&B singer was labeled a “scammer” by Joe Budden following a lackluster debut performance and subsequent week-two drop-out after a reported injury. He was replaced by Blink-182.

“He’s a scammer for the way he got out of his [Def Jam] Universal contract. I think most of the scams are genius. He’ll always wear the scammer tag for me. That f**ked up a lot of artists, he didn’t care. Lost a lot of artist revenue streams, took Apple out the game, he didn’t care,” shared Budden at the time.
