Coachella promoter announces No Values punk festival set for June 8 at Pomona Fairplex

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival promoter Goldenvoice is putting on a festival that is certain to be a dream come true for punk rockers, but interested desert dwellers will have to head west to Pomona.

The one-day festival, dubbed No Values, will be held on June 8 at the Pomona Fairplex, and will feature headliners The Misfits and Social Distortion. Other notable highlights on the all-punk lineup are Bad Religion, Iggy Pop, Black Flag, Fear and more.

How to get tickets

Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. on Friday. There are three general admission ticket tiers — GA No Values for $199, GA Some Values for $229 and GA More Values for $249 — and VIP is $399. Payment plans start at $49.99 down. For more information, visit novalues.com.

The festival is a nod to the promoter's punk rock origins

Long before Goldenvoice organized the first Coachella festival in 1999 at the Empire Polo Club, the Los Angeles-based promotion company was founded by Gary Tovar in 1981 and promoted Los Angeles punk rock bands throughout Southern California, many of which are featured on the festival.

Goldenvoice has also put on other boutique-style festivals in recent years at Brookside near the Rose Bowl in Pasadena such as the '80s and New Wave themed Cruel World, the indie focused Just Like Heaven and the alt-country Palomino Festival.
