Between the headliners and the up-and-comers, the musical acts on the 2023 Coachella lineup brought the beats and treats with each respective performance. Here's a roundup of all the surprise guests who rocked the desert stage this year

Blink-182

Blink-182 was added to the Coachella Friday lineup in a surprise announcement by the music and arts festival on social media one day before the festival was set to begin. Their high-energy set featured hits like "I Miss You" and "What's My Age Again."

Their performance marked the first time the punk-rock group's original members Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker and Tom DeLonge were on stage together since 2015, when DeLonge left the group.

Two Friends and Bebe Rexha

Two Friends, composed of longtime companions Matt Halper and Eli Sones, hit the Sahara Stage at Coachella on Friday. During their set, the dance-pop duo was joined by surprise guest Bebe Rexha to perform two songs.

Not only did Rexha pop out to sing upcoming single "If Only I" with Two Friends for the first time (a track that also features Loud Luxury), but she also performed her chart-topping hit, "I'm Good (Blue)."

Metro Boomin, The Weeknd and More

Metro Boomin' was in great company during his set at the Sahara Stage. Not only did The Weeknd make his return to Coachella with a series of hits, including "Heartless" and their latest "Creepin,'" but Metro Boomin' was joined by several others, including John Legend, Future, Don Toliver, 21 Savage and Sean "Diddy" Combs.

Bad Bunny and Post Malone

Bad Bunny didn't disappoint as the weekend's first headlining act, topping his set off with a surprise appearance by Post Malone. Despite the technical difficulties experienced, the audience was in awe of their raw, acoustic performance.

Calvin Harris brought out frequent collaborator Ellie Goulding to wrap his Saturday night set at Coachella. Though he riled up the crowd with their hits "I Need Your Love" and "Outside" earlier in the set (sans Goulding), he surprised fans when he later welcomed the pop star to sing "Miracle."

Billie Eilish and Labrinth

Billie Eilish made her return to the Coachella stage during Labrinth's Saturday night set. The duo shocked fans with a special performance of their recent collab "Never Felt So Alone," which her brother Finneas co-produced.

Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro

Rosalía surprised fans when she welcomed fiancé Rauw Alejandro to the stage during her Saturday night set. The reggaeton superstar joined her in singing two songs from their recent joint EP, RR.

Not only did Latto sing "Big Energy," she brought it to the stage, too! The chart-topping artist further lit up the crowd when she welcomed fellow female rapper Saweetie to perform "BFDS Remix." She was also joined by TiaCorine and Lola Brooke.

Kaytranada, H.E.R. and More

H.E.R. surprised fans for a special performance of "Intimidated" with Kaytranada on Friday night during Coachella weekend 2. Other surprise guests included Tinashe to sing "The Worst in Me" and Anderson .Paak who performed "Glowed Up."

Gorillaz and Bad Bunny

Damon Albarn of Gorillaz was joined by headliner Bad Bunny to perform "Tormenta" together for the first time during Coachella weekend 2.

Jhay Cortez returned to the Coachella stage to join Bad Bunny during his headlining performance weekend 2. The latin superstar welcomed more friends like Arcángel for "La Jumpa," Grupo Frontera for "un x100to" and José Feliciano for a few acoustic songs to round out his set.

Labrinth and Zendaya

Zendaya took Coachella by storm, surprising fans with a surprise return to the stage on Saturday as she joined Labrinth's set during weekend 2.

Marking her first live performance in over seven years, Zendaya performed the final two songs of his set — "I'm Tired" and "All for Us," the latter of which was written for her HBO series, Euphoria.
