CNN Producer Ousted Over Alleged Inappropriate Behavior

CNN has fired a senior producer of Jake Tapper’s show State of the Union, over alleged inappropriate behavior.

In a statement, CNN confirmed Teddy Davis ‘is no longer with the company.”

“A comprehensive investigation was conducted as soon as this matter was brought to our attention,” CNN said in a statement that was posted on Twitter by Brian Stelter. “The behavior attributed to Mr. Davis does not align with the standards and values of CNN.” CNN did not detail the allegations.

Tapper did not address the situation on his show Wednesday, but confirmed Davis’ firing on Twitter.

Davis’ ouster comes just hours after NBC News fired longtime Today show anchor Matt Lauer over alleged “inappropriate sexual behavior.”
