CNN's Ana Navarro Marries Al Cardenas in Miami Beach: All the Details!

CNN’s Ana Navarro has tied the knot!

Navarro, who frequently appears as a guest co-host on The View and is a political commentator for Telemundo, married Cardenas — a lawyer/lobbyist and former chairman of Florida’s Republican party — on Saturday, PEOPLE en Español exclusively reveals.

The happy couple said “I do” in Miami Beach at the Indian Creek Country Club; Indian Creek is a private island/municipality with 40 homes and a country club.

“I feel full of love and surrounded by love,” Navarro tells PEOPLE en Español, which published the couple’s stunning wedding photos. “He treats me like I’m a princess, he treats me with so much love and respect… I like everything about him.”

Numerous famous faces attended the ceremony and reception, including CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Don Lemon; actress Eva Longoria and husband José Bastón; singer Gloria Estefan; senators Mitt Romney and Bob Menendez; and anchors from The View.

Navarro says it was “so incredibly special” to have her pals on hand to watch her tie the knot.

“They’re my friends. They’re special not because they’re famous, they’re special not because they’re celebrities, they’re special because they’re special in my heart,” she tells PEOPLE en Español. “We’ve gone through good and bad, we’ve gone through ups and downs. I call on people like Eva Longoria, like Gloria Estefan, for advice, for support.”

Estefan, 61, says she and Navarro go back “decades,” and that her friend’s day went off without a hitch.

“I think they made an amazing team. [The wedding] couldn’t have been more beautiful,” the singer tells the outlet. “One of those special Miami afternoons that you know, the sun, the weather, could not have been better.”

Navarro also makes note of how important it was to have her mother and father travel in from Nicaragua to attend.

“My mom is in very frail health,” she explains to PEOPLE en Español. “That’s part of the reason why I did this so quickly, because I wanted her to be there.”

Last October, Navarro, 47, confirmed the happy news that Cardenas, 71, had popped the question.

“Yes, I have some happy personal news to share. And now, I have a wedding to plan!!! So much to do. So many options. So much to decide. Where do I start? #Bridezillatina ]]>💍👰🏻
