NASHVILLE – Who's ready for the biggest night in country music?

The 56th annual CMA Awards take center stage Wednesday night, bringing together top country hitmakers for rowdy performances, surprise showcases and career-making moments.

Performers for the primetime show inside Nashville's Bridgestone Arena include Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, Carly Pearce, Thomas Rhett with Katy Perry, Reba McEntire, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton with Patty Loveless, The Black Keys with Ellie King, Carrie Underwood, Cody Johnson, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs and more names, plus tributes to Loretta Lynn, Jerry Lee Lewis and Alan Jackson.

When are the CMA Awards?

The CMA Awards kicks off live at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday, Nov. 9, from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

What channel are the CMA Awards on?

For network viewers, the show returns to ABC. Coverage kicks off at 8 p.m. ET. West Coast viewers can catch the show on tape delay beginning at 8 p.m. PT.

Can I watch the CMA Awards online?

ABC doesn't offer a standalone live streaming service a la Paramount+ or Peacock – but country fans can still find a way to watch the show online.

"Country Girl" and "Play It Again" star Luke Bryan returns to co-host the CMA Awards for a second consecutive year. This year, he's joined by Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning.

This marks the first time hosting for Manning, a retired NFL quarterback with a growing post-career media presence.

Who's performing at the CMA Awards?

The evening promises a slew of A-list stars and pairings. Among them:

  • Dierks Bentley, Jon Pardi, Carrie Underwood, Lainey Wilson pay tribute to Alan Jackson (Willie Nelson lifetime achievement award recipient).

First-time nominee Lainey Wilson is up in six categories, including album of the year, female vocalist of the year and song of the year. Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Chris Stapleton and Shane McAnally have five nominations each.

Four nominees who have yet to win the night's top honor are contending for entertainer of the year: Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood and Morgan Wallen. They'll compete with Luke Combs, who won last year.
