CMA Awards 2016: Randy Travis sings 'Forever and Ever, Amen' three years after stroke

Music legend Randy Travis took to the CMA Awards stage on Wednesday night to sing the last line of his hit, "Forever and Ever, Amen," three years after suffering from a stroke.
The 57-year-old appeared on stage with other country singers such as Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley and a slew of other stars, singing the last line while audience members applauded.

While the crooner's voice didn't soar like it once used to, the emotional moment was a reminder of the strength he has exuded since he suffered a massive stroke in 2013.

Travis was honored in mid-October when he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, where he captivated the audience by singing a brief verse of "Amazing Grace."
He received a similarly emotional response during the CMA Awards. Miranda Lambert wiped away tears as Nicole Kidman pumped her hands in the air.
