The 'Clueless' Cast Just Had a Mini-Reunion, & We’re Totally Buggin’

It’s been nearly 25 years since Cher, Dionne, Tai and their other Bronson Alcott High School homies rolled into movie theaters. But the Clueless cast reunited over the weekend at the 2019 Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, and it was as if no time had passed — Alicia Silverstone (Cher), Paul Rudd (Josh), Breckin Meyer (Travis) and Donald Faison (Murray) are still full-on Bettys and Baldwins. Bonus? The four shared some phat behind-the-scenes facts during their panel about filming the cult classic.

But did it even happen if it wasn’t on social media? The reunion was naturally documented on Instagram to share with fans. Silverstone posted several photos in her Stories of the fan convention, writing on one photo, “Come see me, I’m signing everything.” She also shared a snapshot with Rudd that will make your ‘90s heart explode, revealing, “Such a sweet reunion last night at dinner with my pal #PaulRudd. I love this guy! I mean he ordered vegan for both of us…. Swoon.” Um, we second that swoon. Do we hear a third? As if (as if!) that wasn’t enough to make you feel all the Clueless feels, Silverstone, Faison and Meyer all shared a casual snapshot of the four stars together.

During the panel, the cast revealed a few fun facts, too. Like, for instance, that Faison celebrated a milestone birthday during filming. “Do you remember, y’all took me out for my 21st birthday?” Faison asked his co-stars. “I was there?” Silverstone struggled to recall, prompting Rudd to joke, “Do you remember anything about making this movie?” But while Silverstone’s memory for details may be a little fuzzy, she does recall how it felt bringing such an iconic character to life — and having such an incredible cast. “I loved playing Cher. It was such a fun character and working with these guys, every one of them was so much fun,” Silverstone said. “I didn’t know who that girl was, so it was really fun to be her. Because it wasn’t how I lived my life.”

The best moment of the panel, though, came courtesy of Rudd being asked about his apparent lack of aging because, ICYMI, he’s about to turn 50. “I’m 80-years-old on the inside. It’s a mess underneath all this,” Rudd said. He then got a hilarious assist from Meyer (who, FYI, skateboarded to his audition). “On the set of Clueless they would come and they would get us like 20 minutes before set, and then on Paul’s trailer they would knock like an hour beforehand because he had to finish sucking the lifeblood out of the babies he takes in order to maintain [his youth], and then he was camera-ready,” joked Meyer, to which Rudd quipped, “Hey, it’s a tough business.”
