Live entertainment venue Horizon Events Center, 2100 N.W. 100th St. in Clive, announced the lineup, a total of 18 acts, for 2024 on Tuesday. Headliners include Umphrey’s McGee, the act that originated in South Bend, Indiana, more than two decades ago who are beloved for blending genres and sounds for music unique to them, and Railroad Earth, the New Jersey act known for their “unpredictable” live shows and launching music festivals in California and Arkansas. Joining them will be Yonder Mountain String Band, the veteran act that blends rock, alternative, psychedelic and improvisational music, and Sierra Hull, a Grammy-nominated bluegrass multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter.

Also performing at the Greenbelt Music Festival is Arkansauce, a string quartet who released their fifth album, “OK to Wonder,” earlier this year, and B2wins, the Brazilian brother duo whose performances are “equal parts rock concert, dance party, jam session and vacation for the soul.” That’s in addition to the Iowa City folk and grass string band Flash In A Pan, and several more.
